Hey Dude

How fun is this? Well I wish I could take "sole" credit for it, but really I saw the idea posted in a tutorial from The Alley Way Stamps (view here)
Onto my project. When I saw these colors I did a little happy dance inside. I mean who doesn't love these colors together right? I knew I wanted to make a fun little project (not a card) so this is what I came up with. Trying to incorporate it into PS Spark Challenge & 10 Minute Craft Dash, I knew I had to get all my supplies ready. I drew out my design, got everything together, set the timer and...
9 minutes 27 seconds later I had this little guy. I really LOVE how it turned out! Don't look to closely, I had a little "non-strait" stitching, but what do you expect for under 10 minutes? lol
My little sour cream container would be perfect to hold a fun treat for a birthday boy. I would imagine this would be adorable for a little "on top of present" get well, you rock, or just because.
I also stamped some twill ribbon with the same stamp sets.
Thanks for stopping by!

Your "Hey Dude" dinosaur is cute! (Who'd ever imagine that'cute' and 'dinosaur' would appear in the same sentence!) I'm in awe that you created this project (a gift all in its own!) in under 10 minutes. Creative + clever + talent = one amazing lady and a bunch of charming projects! Thank you for sharing the "dude" ~ he's definitely added colour to my day!!!

  12. Hi Anna ~ Just a quick 'hello' and a note to say I hope you're playing along with the Paper Smooches SPARK challenge or the next TAWS. I'm missing your creative 'sparkles' and 'dazzles.' I missed the TAWS deadline because I thought it was on March 1 (which I figured was unusual because the submissions usually close on Thursday). Turns out I was right! I'm still planning to post my "contender' card, and another one I missed for the A Blog Named Hero Challenge. That card isn't exactly 'vintage-shabby-chic' in 'style', even though the paper is. I really need to organize my 'challenge calendar' better!
Fingers crossed all is well. Oh yes - I'm trying to decide on some TAWS and PS stamps (my Chubby Chums and Zoo Crew arrived!: what are your 'top two' recommendations for each? I can't decide; just want them ALLLLLLL! Looking forward to *chatting* with you soon!
